Some distance into the woods, in a clearing surrounded there is a large manor surrounded by a stone wall that ivy drapes lazily over; hedged in crimson rosebushes. The walls are roughly three-feet high. The only entrance is an archway adorned similarly to the rest of the fence - a dark wooden door is nestled there flanked by two great marble pillars; almost never locked waiting to be opened. And once it is, behind those walls everything is bright vivid color provided by assorted flowers & lush greenery.

There's a pathway of stones that leads all the way to the door of the Manor but it has forks that lead off to other places - a gazebo set up on a gently sloping hill under a rather large shade tree and a small plant nursery adjoining a tool shed. There's a small hedge maze set up that houses a stone bench encircling a water fountain, as well as a single pomegranate tree. The grounds are always perfectly tended with nary a petal, leaf, or blade of grass out of place. Often there are birds, bees, ladybugs in the gardens - along with the occasional other woodland animal if they manage to get past the fence.

Near the manor the stone path way gives way to steps leading to the door. The manor is as immaculate as the grounds, three stories tall elegant, imposing, and perhaps a bit intimidating. As the door opens, even in the vastness of the manor there is a feeling of warmth and homey coziness. The mixed scents of tea, baking, and unsurprisingly flowers welcomes you. A wide staircase to the right leads to the next floor where the rooms are; tucked to either side a locked study and the library, to the far left the door leading to the solarium with its glass walls and ceiling waits for a sunny day. Directly ahead the dining hall and kitchens, just beyond the sitting room.

There are seven* personalized rooms on the second level each with their own key. Alan is the keeper of these keys and sees to it that they're given to their intended holders. Alan is constantly left with two room keys in his pocket - one is his own room; the other is set aside waiting its intended owner. Each of these rooms is set aside, decorated with a single inhabitant in mind. The extra rooms however contain the basics needed - though these have two single beds rather than one large one. Everything a person could need or want as a creature comfort is there and readily provided. All and all it's a place of warmth, beauty, and comfort, at least during the day.

As this is the temple of Persephone, it falls under the deal struck between Hades and Demeter. By day it is idyllic and flourishing. As sun sets it becomes a grim, bleak space - flowers fade away; wither and die. The rosebushes along the fence become overgrown with hardy, thick tangles of thorns and briars. They bite, claw, and tear. None of the building structures are affected nor is the pomegranate tree. Come dawn's light everything is restored to as it had been during the day just before sunset - bright flourishing and vibrant.
